From the seventh cohort of the MPH program, affiliated with the Faculty of Medical at Kandahar University, 25 doctors graduated and were introduced to society for service. To mark this occasion, a grand graduation ceremony was held by the faculty, attended by Kandahar University officials, professors, scholars, and family members of the graduating students.

The event began with the recitation of several verses from the Holy Quran. Initially, Professor Dr. Abdul Wahid Waseq, a faculty member of the Faculty of Medical and the founder of this program, congratulated all the graduates. He then spoke about the historical background, achievements, and future plans of the MPH program. According to him, after Kabul Medical University, the MPH master's program was established as the second of its kind in the Faculty of Medical at Kandahar University and is one of the most significant medical programs. At the end of his remarks, Dr. Waseq encouraged the graduating doctors to serve society and pursue further higher education.

Next, Kandahar University Chancellor Sheikh Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Tayyibi welcomed all attendees. He stated that in the past 20 years, millions of dollars were brought in by foreigners, but no foundational work was accomplished. He specifically highlighted the lack of attention given to the health and education sectors, which seemed intentionally overlooked to prevent Afghanistan's progress. However, now an independent and Islamic government rules Afghanistan, and the cabinet of the Islamic Emirate pays special attention to education, allocating a significant budget each year for this sector.

Later, Mr. Tayyibi praised the efforts of all professors of the Faculty of Medicine at Kandahar University. He emphasized that graduating such a large number of doctors in the field of health and presenting them to society is a source of pride for all of Afghanistan. He urged the newly graduated doctors to fulfill the hopes of the suffering population so that Afghans would no longer need to seek treatment abroad and could instead rely on local expertise.

Towards the end, other professors and two graduating doctors, on behalf of all graduates, also spoke. They pledged to serve the people with full dedication and honesty in the field of health. Following the speeches, graduation certificates were distributed to all the graduates. The ceremony concluded with prayers.
