Finance and Administration Vice Chancellery

The Vice Chancellery for Finance and Administration was established for the first time within the organizational structure of Kandahar University in 1390 (2011–2012). It is responsible for managing all financial and administrative affairs of the University.

As the largest vice chancellery in terms of organizational structure, it oversees all administrative, technical, and support services of the University. To effectively fulfill its responsibilities, it comprises several directorates and general management offices, including the Directorates of Human Resources, Finance and Accounting, Procurement and Logistics, Information Technology, and Public Awareness and Communications, as well as the General Directorate of Student Dormitories. Each directorate has its own organizational structure and defined responsibilities.

In accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and operational procedures, the Vice Chancellery particularly through its Procurement and Logistics Directorate manages the procurement of goods and the administration of contracts for both Kandahar University and its affiliated teaching hospital. Furthermore, it strives to strengthen the University's financial capacity with the long-term objective of achieving financial sustainability and greater financial autonomy.
